Jeep Grand Cherokees at a Chrysler dealership in Haverhill, Mass. Chrysler said growing demand for its Jeep S.U.V.s and Ram pickup trucks helped fuel its quarterly results.

The automaker said its United States market share was 12.3 percent in the third quarter, with strong demand for its Jeep and Ram models.
