Ebola Survivor Says More Aid Needed For Victims

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina-based missionary aid group is sending 90 tons of supplies to West Africa to help fight an Ebola outbreak that has killed thousands of people.
But even with Samaritan Purse’s latest shipment to Liberia, Dr. Kent Brantly says more help is needed.
Brantley said Wednesday that the fight to curb the deadly virus is far from over. He says West Africa needs more health care workers.
Brantly is a doctor With Samaritans purse who contracted Ebola while helping patients in a Liberian hospital.
He made his comments as Samaritan’s Purse loaded a plane at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte with supplies, including gloves, masks and boots to help protect workers.
The group’s director, Franklin Graham, says they will continue airlifting supplies to West Africa.
