Search for the Status of a Complaint

To find information about a specific complaint incident, and our investigation of that incident, you can search our database using any of the methods provided in the boxes below.

Note these limitations on searching by date:

A Date Range search may not return data for complaints received prior to November 25, 2002. Please use another search parameter to retrieve those complaints.

Also, because of short delays in entering data, a complaint may not be entered until a few days after it is actually received. If you have trouble finding a complaint, try searching a wider date range.

Please enter either the exact name or number of the Regulated Entity, if known, by itself or in combination with a date or date range.

If you do not know the name or number of the Regulated Entity, you may use the TCEQ Regulated Entity Search to find them. When you have located the Regulated Entity name or number, you will need to return to this page and enter the name or number in the appropriate field to search for incidents.
