Sam Houston High School placed on lockdown

HOUSTON – Sam Houston High School is currently under lockdown.

Houston ISD police are investigating a potential threat to campus. Police nor school officials said what that threat is.

"At this time all students are safe," school officials said in a statement. "We take these situations very seriously, as the safety of our students is always our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and update parents and the school community as necessary."
