Two full weekends of Halloween madness? What's a party monster to do? We say, suck it up (like a vampire) and become a full blown creature of the night.

Trying to keep up with the scary surplus of clubby creep-a-thons and dress-up events in L.A. might kill you, but these parties are worth it! Here, our picks for the best bashes in town. No rest for the wicked indeed...

TRANNYSHACK LA

After almost being vanquished from Facebook (by name, anyway), S.F.'s famed queen Heklina has come back from the dead triumphant, retaining her moniker and showing the FB monsters what's what. Now she's ready to re-animate in full, celebrating in L.A. with co-promoter Cody Bayne and her spooky cross-dressing sisters in SoCal! Expect the T-Shack's usual bad taste bonanza and the scariest queen in the biz, the inimitable Christeene. Enjoy DJs, dancing and a very weird, very awesome drag show full of tricks, chicks with dicks and treats. At the Dragonfly, 6510 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood, 9 p.m.- 2 a.m. 21 and over. $15, $20 at the door. ticketfly.com/event/680537

BAR SINISTER'S GHOSTLY EQUESTRIAN BALL
Nobody goes darker or deeper into the decadence of Halloween than this fiendish and fanciful crowd. Sinister joins forces with Bondage Ball again this year, so expect another sinfully horrific happening. DJs Amanda Jones, Tommy and John C. , Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, Bruce Perdew, Matthew Grim, Timmy Six and Danny Graver provide the sounds for the wicked affair, and there will be a costume contest, major macabre decor, pony-themed go-go girls, vendors, and the club's usual fetish fun upstairs. At Boardner's, 1652 N Cherokee Ave, Hollywood, 10 p.m.-3:30 a.m. 18 and over. facebook.com/events/535916243175763/

DRAGULA
Like the Sinister scene above, at Dragula, every day is Halloween. Well, almost. This bitches brew from the Boulet Brothers celebrates the devilish side of drag with nightmarish contests and performances 12 times a year, so for Halloween we expect nothing less than a blood bath. A disco bloodbath! Guest "Exorsister" Vicky Vox heads up the queer and queen-filled beheadings. At the Faultline, 4216 Melrose Ave., Silver Lake, 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. facebook.com/events/1549805351920396/

KCRW MASQUERADE
One of the biggest and best dress-up and DJ-packed bashes of the season. Read more in our "Lina in L.A." party pick of the week post tomorrow! masquerade.kcrw.com

THE INFERNO
At this scorching soiree, the dance room is called the "Palace of Death" and the promoters want to brutalize you with EDM beats and blazing lasers and lights. An explosive "special surprise DJ" on Exchange LA's Funktion One sound system is promised. The capacity here is 1500+, so it probably really will be like hell. At Exchange LA, 618 S. Spring St., Downtown, 9 p.m.-3 a.m. exchangela.com

More Halloween fun ahead...
