Dine Out on Turkey Day: Where to Eat This Thanksgiving in Houston
Thanksgiving is right around the corner -- and if you aren't planning on burning your house down with a turkey fryer (again) or you just don't feel like cooking, you're going to need some ideas on where to eat. Well you've come to the right place, friends.

024 Grille

Head to this modern American eatery from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enjoy an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving Day feast ($55/adult; $45/senior; $25/child age 6-12). Along with complimentary mimosas, indulge in pastries and muffins, seasonal fruits, made-to-order omelets, eggs benny, roasted butternut squash soup, an assortment of fresh greens, turkey and prime beef carving stations, smoked chicken and cornbread stuffing, goat cheese whipped potatoes, French green bean casserole, smoked gouda mac', and more. And we didn't even get to dessert. A chocolate fountain, honey bourbon pecan pie, and bananas foster bread pudding (among others) help round out the affair.

Both Américas locations will being serving Thanksgiving Day brunch buffet -- featuring Cordua classics alongside holiday favorites with Latin flair -- from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. ($49 adults; $15 for children age 6 to 12). Sit back and relax as you let this Midtown tour-de-force take care of Thanksgiving for you. For $75 per person, enjoy an impressive 4-course feast, featuring an oyster and cornbread amuse bouche; choice of sweet potato soup or port-braised short rib; choice of wild Alaskan halibut, reserve pork tenderloin, or roast turkey breast with green beens, cranberry, yams, and giblet dressing; and selection of Autumn spiced desserts. Reservations can be made between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
benjy's on Washington

The Rice Village location will be closed, but the Washington benjy's is ready to serve you a three-course feast. For $40 per person, choose from caramelized onion soup or warm brussels sprout and kale salad before moving onto the main course: an herb roast turkey, grilled country pork ribs, or vegetarian pot pie, all served with the proper T-Day accoutrements. Finish off the meal with spiced pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or mom's chocolate cake. Kids meals, featuring a fresh fruit appetizer, burgers, turkey dinner, or grilled cheese entree, and choice dessert are available for $18/child.
Bistro Provence

From 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., this French bistro will serve a sophisticated three-course meal ($19 to $25). Start with butternut bisque or autumn salad, then choose among grilled salmon ($24), roast beef Bordelaise ($25), or a roulade of turkey breast with sage and corn stuffing ($19). Dessert includes a slice of classic pumpkin pie or decadent chocolate and cinnamon bread pudding.
Brennan's of Houston

Why not wine and dine NOLA-style this Thanksgiving? Enjoy a three-course dinner from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. for $65 per person. Start with dishes like the house favorite turtle soup, smoked quail and collards gumbo, or dirty rice and duck prosciutto (to name a few) before moving on to the big guns. Choose from eight main entrees, including lamb shank osso bucco, lobster-stuffed flounder, or good ol' American roasted turkey and giblet gravy -- done Creole style, of course. Make sure to save room for Brennan's famous tableside bananas foster, a big slice of Southern pecan pie, and more.

If you're looking for something a little more casual, this family-style Italian eatery is the place for you. Their turkey day feast serves three ($53.99) or six ($98.99) and includes hickory smoked ham and home-style roast turkey with gravy, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.
The Capital Grille

Head to this Galleria hotspot from noon to 9 p.m. to enjoy the restaurant's full a la carte menu as well as a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner ($36 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under). The meal features slow-roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, French green beans with marcona almonds, mashed potatoes, and cranberry pear chutney along with a big slice of pumpkin cheesecake ($10) for dessert.
Churrascos
