Taylor Swift Is Donating All of the Proceeds From ‘Welcome to New York’ to NYC Schools

Living, breathing Anthropologie catalogue Taylor Swift is having a big week. On Monday, she released her first official pop album, 1989, and performed on the roof of New York Magazine's building (we were not invited). She was also named New York City's Global Welcome Ambassador, much to the chagrin of every New Yorker who has lived here for more than six months.

But Swift, ever the PR genius, found a way to shake it off that may silence even her most vocal haters: She's donating all of the proceeds from her new song "Welcome to New York" to a good cause.

Take that, haters.
