As you hit the lakes, remember to clean, drain and dry your boat every time you leave the water. Destructive zebra mussels and their microscopic larvae hitch rides on boats, spreading to new lakes across Texas and cause economic, environmental and recreational damage. Boaters are required to drain all water from their boat before leaving or approaching Texas public waters.
