Steven Lindsey is a Dallas editor, freelance writer and obsessed lover of the written word, especially when relaying stories of travel, food and cocktails. His writing career began at the age of 5 when he started writing his first (admittedly very short) novels. In junior high and high school he became editor of every publication he could get his hands on (everything was actually in print back then) and eventually went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and English before embarking on a professional writing career.
Currently he is contributing editor and head writer of the national and Dallas editions of He Said Magazine (formerly Gay List Daily). He contributes regularly to The Dallas Morning News specialty publications, including Design Guide and the annual Be Who You Are supplement for National Coming Out Day. His knowledge of Big D is called upon frequently for written contributions to WhereTraveler, Dallas Voice, the Virgin Atlantic Blog, Gayot.com, Groupon and the Official Visitors Guide for the city.
He’s thrilled to be a part of this new venture and the opportunity to tell the stories that need to be told to a whole new audience.
