Nathan Wood

Nathan-Wood  Nathan has now been at the FAN for 3 years and is a jack-of-all-trades. As an on-air host, show producer, board-op, field reporter and fan flash anchor, Nate can be heard at the most random times on the station.

He can regularly be heard as a co-host of the Nate and MRod Show from 2-6 on Saturdays, where Fan Fans can hear segments like “Wash Tweets,” “Married, Single, Taken,” and “Nate’s Wood.”

He also serves as the whipping boy producer to Jeff and Mike, Sunday afternoons 2-6 on the FANJAM…

Nate graduated from Mansfield High School (the original) and made his way to Texas Tech for his degree in broadcast journalism. While in Lubbock, he was the Sports Editor for the La Ventana Yearbook, a contributor to the Daily Toreador Newspaper and interned at KKAM, Lubbock’s ESPN affiliate.

Since returning to the metroplex, Nathan has spent time doing play-by-play for Mansfield and Dallas ISD high school football games and the Grand Prairie Air Hogs independent league baseball team.

Nate’s first car was a 1995 Ford Ranger, his golf handicap is a +15 and his favorite cereal is Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Whenever he’s not sleeping on the Mega couch at the station, Nathan hangs out with his wife Lindsey and son Eli.
