Safari Nights

More than 11,000 music-lovers showed off dance moves, sang like no one was listening, cuddled up with their children, enjoyed a date night on Cat Green, drank craft beer, and ate Cuban food, all while supporting your Dallas Zoo during our 2014 Safari Nights summer concert series. Jammers like The Killdares launched a Celtic rock journey, Brave Combo got the crowd on its toes, everyone took it easy with premier Eagles tribute band FastLane, and children jumped around like monkeys (it’s okay, we approve) during Texas singer/songwriter Sara Hickman’s captivating set. You came out by the thousands for other performances, too, including Beatles tribute band A Hard Night’s Day, The Bird Dogs and Petty Theft, and The O’s.
