4thFEST Independence Day Celebration

Join the City of Bedford this July 4, as we celebrate Independence Day. This 4thFEST will feature free live musical entertainment, a variety of themed family friendly activities, a birthday themed classic car show, yummy festival food and of course, the spectacular fireworks when the sun goes down.

4thFEST visitors can also take a dip in Bedford's Splash Aquatic Center, featuring plenty of cool fun for the whole family. It features three unique pools with several water slides, a kids' play area, umbrella-shaded leisure patios and a cabana party pavilion. Admission is $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for kids under 18 and free for children two years old and younger.

When the sun goes down the massive fireworks extravaganza will light up the night sky.

Limited on-site parking is available for $20 (entrance via Eastbound Harwood) and $15 parking at the Bedford Public Library (proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library).

Parking and shuttle service are available for $5 (Free for children 3 and under) at Pennington Field, 1501 Central Drive. The last shuttle TO the Boys Ranch Park will leave Pennington field at 9:30PM.

Admission to 4thFEST is free. Feel free to bring  lawn chairs, blankets, coolers and non-alcoholic beverages (No glass containers).

Parking
On-site parking is available for $20 (entrance via Eastbound Harwood) and $15 parking at the Bedford Public Library, 2424 Forest Ridge Dr. and the Old Bedford School, 2400 School Ln. (proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library).

Shuttle Service
Shuttle service will be provided from 12:00PM until 9:30PM at 15 minute intervals from Pennington Field (1501 Central Drive) to the Bedford Boys Ranch Park at a cost of $5.00 per person for a round trip (3 years old and under ride FREE). The last shuttle TO the Boys Ranch Park will leave Pennington field at 9:30PM. The last bus returns to Pennington Field after the FIREWORKS at 11:00 p.m.

Stadium parking lot is located on the southwest corner of Central Drive and Airport Freeway.

Portions of parking proceeds benefit the H-E-B Teen Court.

Road Closure : Access to Boys Ranch Park will be RESTRICTED the evening of July 3 and all day July 4. Forest Ridge Drive will be CLOSED from Harwood Road to Shady Lane from 4:00PM until midnight.
