A training vessel for the Mexican navy, the three-masted Barque “Cuauhtemoc,” sailed into the Port of Los Angeles on and has docked in San Pedro for a four-day stay. The historic vessel, with a crew of approximately 200 aboard is 297 feet long, weighs 1,800 tons and has a rigging height of 168 feet. She carries 23 sails with a maximum sail area of about half an acre. View Post»
