NBA All-Star Jam Session is wall-to-wall basketball fun for all ages! Fans can shoot, slam, dribble and drive all day, compete against their friends in skills challenges and collect FREE autographs from NBA Players and Legends. Young fans can take their shot on hoops that are the perfect size for kids' slam dunks, three-pointers and jump shots.
For security purposes all bags are subject to search by security personnel. Large personal bags, boxes, backpacks, etc., are not allowed inside the event.
Bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” WILL NOT BE PERMITTED
You may check oversized bags at the Prohibited Items Check In.
The following items are PROHIBITED:
- Basketballs, beach balls, frisbees, balloons, skateboards, roller blades, skates, etc.

State Farm All-Star Saturday Night includes four competitions featuring some of the NBA's best players. The Sears Shooting Stars competition features NBA and WNBA Players and NBA Legends in a shooting contest. In the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, the top guards work against the clock to compete in an "obstacle course," consisting of a series of passes, free throws, lay-ups and agility drills. In the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, six of the best long-range shooters attempt to score the most three-pointers in a race against the clock. The event's grand finale, the Sprite Slam Dunk, showcases the NBA's most athletic players as they take to the air, mystifying fans with their gravity-defying creativity.
For the first time, State Farm All-Star Saturday Night will feature a new format that pits the Eastern Conference against the Western Conference in a night of competition that will raise money for charity.

The NBA Cares All-Star Community Caravan will run from Thursday, February 14 through Sunday, February 17 and will feature the entire NBA family, including current and former players, executives, partners, and volunteers, joining together to offer hands-on community service in Houston.

Thank you for your interest in becoming an NBA All-Star Jam Session MVP Volunteer! Due to the overwhelming response from the Houston community, we have filled all the spots on our Jam Session MVP roster in record time and registration is currently closed.
NBA All-Star 2013 will play host to the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, which will feature two teams drafted by TNT Analysts Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal who will serve as the opposing general managers. Each team will have nine man rosters, consisting of both NBA rookies and sophomores drafted from a pool that was previously selected by the NBA's assistant coaches. Fans will have the opportunity to vote online for who should be in the starting lineup for each team.
