Residents no longer have to store unused medications until an annual event to dispose of them properly.
The Lewisville Police Department has installed a red metal collection box in the jail lobby, 1187 W. Main St. The lobby is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Leave medication in its original container in the box. Syringes or inhalers are not accepted.
