Can those National Guard troops being sent to the border arrest people? The latest word is they can. And the reason why is that Rick Perry sent them, and not the federal government.
The New York Times' Manny Fernandez reported that the Reconstruction-era law that limits activities by the Guard would not apply to "state-duty troops."

José Antonio Meade thinks passing a New Law will facilitate trade and the lack of a new law is holding things back? What was wrong with the Old Law,, the one we already have that nobody pays any attention to? This is just an attempt to blame the U.S. and deflect attention from the fact it is Mexico that is allowing these invaders to cross 1,400 miles of Mexican Territory and show up on our doorstep. There is nothing holding back the free flow of legal trade that has anything to do with immigration law , except maybe the free flow of people,, and even that does not seem to be an impediment to them.
The problem plain and simple is lack of border security and interior enforcement. The illegal's advocates can claim this President has deported more ..... blah , blah , blah. We all know it's not true and this has been explained to organizations like La Raza, LULAC , Casa de Maryland and the rest ,, by the PRESIDENT !! They just misinterpreted the numbers put out ,, just like everyone else, until it was clarified for them that the whole thing was a manipulation done for deceptive purposes.
Right now there is an Illegal alien , referred to as a " Transient" who is wandering around Northern California with Tuberculosis. He was told to go to a motel and stay there , someone would come and give him his daily pills. He Left. Numerous rapes, murders, assaults have already taken place from individuals involved in the latest surge. So these are the prices we have to pay for " Increased trade?"
It does not seem to bother the Mexican government that all manner of atrocities are being committed against these people traveling across their country. 75% of all girls are raped on the journey and more than a few boys ,, but this is acceptable to the Mexicans and it is Our fault?
This is not new and has been going on for some time,, it has been kept quiet in the news and while Perry and others have been sounding the alarm for some time , the numbers have been rising for several years and only recently became a " crisis," when it is just too obvious to be ignored anymore.

This site is an official US armed forces briefing on what posse comitatus means. It has come up since it appears, as I reported earlier, that the law does not cover national guard troops while they are in state service (as the 1,000 Perry is calling up will be). They would not have law enforcement powers if they were in Federal Service, but may have them while in state. This means the guard members could probably arrest the illegals as they come across the river. What laws they would be enforcing is unclear---maybe trespassing

Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, blames the U.S as well,, and wants MO MONEY!!! This is being used to shake down the U.S for hundreds of millions of dollars.
To tackle the humanitarian crisis of the migrant unaccompanied children, Hernández said his government has asked Mexican officials to immediately set up four new Honduran consulates in the Mexican-Honduran border known as “Ruta del inmigrante” to provide humanitarian aid and custom and immigration support as the flow of people – mostly children alone or with their parents – reach the area.
Instead of trying to stop them from leaving they are helping them along their way.
It seems like the President is coming on board, I mean OUR President. There is now talk of setting up intake, processing and screening centers in these countries. Providing air service direct from Honduras , El Salvador , Guatemala to your town !!! This will save the children the trouble of the long journey and the danger involved. Even the consideration of this is just plain crazy.

Greg Abbott is also under a lawsuit with Former 2 Star General John Furlow and a few other generals. After Gregg Abbott and Rick Perry screwed over the National Guard and the Generals for political purposes, because Furlow was not going to cover up millions of dollars Rick Perry was hiding, so they coined the generals as double dipping which was false. Also Rick Perry and Gregg Abbott try to seem strong on the border, but what you don't know is during Furlow's tenure as second in charge of the Texas National Guard he rarely saw his boss Rick Perry. So this shows Rick Perry is all political and is trying to set himself up for a presidential run and only uses the military for political purposes. Rick Perry and Gregg Abbott we see through it, and it is terrible how you treat a veteran after he spent 31 years of his life protecting the freedoms that politician take for granted so much. I'm disappointed, I hope I can talk to Gregg Abbot and Rick Perry in person to tell him the heartache he has caused this family. My name is William Furlow and I'm the son of General Furlow. This whole situation is the craziest thing the GOP in Texas has cooked up yet! I mean wth? Not all Texans are as stupid as Cruz and Perry are. Especially Perry. And Cruz giving them the same rights as police is idiotic! Get off the stupid agenda already! How dangerous are these children? I mean, come on, people! They are not a national threat! They are refugees. Not immigrants. They came here seeking safe refuge. And what happens? Adults start getting angry at them and make threats and say mean things. They are children! You bunch of soulless people! Omg! What happened to the Texas I loved so much? Someone switched it with this alter state where evil racism sexism ageism and greed are running a muck! Ugh! It is prohibbitted for any state to enforce immigration laws. This includes the forever brainless Rick Perry. He is always misusing federal funds. Takes OuR rights as American citizens away from us, for example Obamacare. We all pay for it. And Medicaid expansion, we all pay for it via property taxes. But can just any Texan sign up for it with ease? NO! Our state constitution states free education for our kids, yet Texas wants to end public education now. Quit taking from us! The money government controls is our damned money! Not theirs. Quit punishing Texans we are Texan and American and no politician in this state has the right to take our American rights away from us!
