It is no secret to us that many of our favorite stars in Hollywood are serial smokers. Some however have decided to ditch the smoke, smell and ash to join the new “it” club in Hollywood, the electronic cigarette club. E-cigarettes are making headlines everywhere as you can see it in movies, TV shows, news broadcast, concerts and many more. They love E-cigarettes! So much that it had already become a favorite gift among the famous this past holiday season and celebrities are strutting it everywhere. And I mean everywhere, even in awards night.
“The Golden Globes ceremony that aired on Comcast Corp-owned NBC on Sunday night showed actor Leonardo DiCaprio smoking an e-cigarette during the broadcast, as well as nominee Julia Louis-Dreyfus puffing on one as part of an opening skit.” – Reuters
So which celebrities love E-cigarettes as of today?
– We know for sure that Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher (who played Princess leia) loves it. Her recent appearance on the Today Show made waves in the media as she is shown puffing tirelessly on her e-cig under the watchful eye of TV host Ann Curry and another 9 million viewers. Ann Curry even said “Good morning and you’re smoking!” and Fisher said “Correction, I am vaping”
– On one of her appearance in the red carpet, the A lister Catherine Zeta Jones is proud to announce to the whole world that she vapes and intent getting her family and friends to try them too.
– Witty and lovable actress Katherine Heigl showed up in the David Letterman show and vapes. And with the way Heighl talked about E-cigarettes on the show, it seems that she can be a E-cigarette spoke person. She explained that there are no chemicals on E-cigarettes and that it only contains nicotine. When asked if nicotine is bad, she explained well by saying “Some say its bad, some say its not, I choose to believe the former as you can get nicotine same thing where you get it in chocolates and coffee”
