Alec Burks burns Kobe Bryant with behind-the-back crossover (VIDEO)

Oct 20, 2014, 12:26 AM EDT

Sentences I never thought I’d write:

Kobe Bryant reaches, Alec Burks teaches.

Right before this shot Kobe hit a quality jumper right over the top of Burks, so the Jazz guard was looking for a little payback. He got it with this sweet behind-the-back crossover that pretty much broke Kobe’s ankles. Burks had a strong game, scoring 21 points on 14 shots.

Kobe had 26 points on 7-of-22 shooting, plus he made a few other nice plays.

surprised the crowd didn’t do their usual “ohhh”, but then i remembered the score

almost expected him to go for the jump shot like jamal crawford. nasty move

Yeah, I think that box line from this game will be pretty common. 7-22 26 points

lol….is this the same kobe bryant that called everyone idiots for ranking him 40th??

that may have been way too high

like i said, no one wants to play with a ball hog that scores 26 every night but only shoots 30%

    • ranfan12 - Oct 20, 2014 at 1:47 PM

Not passing hm the ball 99% of the time during late shockclocks might help a little honestly.

Kobe is 36 and hasn’t played ball in 2 yrs…..I think I will give him more than 5 preseason games before calling him to old to play this game anymore….if he can stay healthy and get to January then I think we will see how good he is at this stage in his career…..
