After a successful quarter of a century communications career, he retired as a manager from Southwestern Bell. John is a former teacher, a Vietnam combat veteran, the longest serving municipal elected official of El Paso, and a loving family man. He has lived in Texas the majority of his life, currently residing in El Paso, where his family have owned several businesses.
