ANR Pipeline Company (ANR)

ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) is one of the continent’s largest natural gas pipeline systems, connecting supply basins and markets throughout the Mid-West and south to the Gulf of Mexico.

With 15,128 kilometres (9,400 miles) of pipeline, ANR connects markets in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Ohio with supply in Texas, Oklahoma and the Gulf of Mexico.

In fact, through its numerous interconnections with other major interstate pipelines, ANR can readily serve customers far beyond its traditional service area in the Midwest.

ANR’s regulated storage capacity in Michigan is one of the largest in North America, consisting of four fields of underground natural gas storage with a total capacity of nearly 250 Bcf.

ANR offers a broad range of competitively priced transportation and storage services to provide customers the flexibility they need to compete in today’s natural gas marketplace.

The ANR System is part of TransCanada's network of 60,000 km (37,000 miles) of wholly owned and 7,900 km (4,900 miles) of partially owned pipelines connecting major supply basins with major markets all across North America. TransCanada is one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services with approximately 380 Bcf of storage capacity – that’s the second largest in North America. In total, TransCanada delivers approximately 20 per cent of the natural gas consumed in North America each day.
