The Big Boys

by admin on September 22, 2010

Yesterday the Argyle and Bartonville communities watched as Williams installed two compressors next door to a dog kennel, a kids bedroom window and a kind gentleman fighting cancer.  Those compressors were massive.

Undeniably massive. Cannot. Get. Any. Bigger. Massive.

Overwhelmed, neighbors went home, took a deep breath and said a prayer.

Today, the same neighbors stood speechless as they watched Williams install yet another compressor. And not just any compressor, one that trumped yesterday’s undeniable massive compressors into tiny, ant-sized compressors. These compressors are tied into a system of 16-inch pipelines that are running underground from the pad sites at Jennifer and Wayne Holt’s house and Lemoine Wright’s house.

More Wright/Blessing compressors should arrive soon.

These compressors are the same as those in Dish, Texas, that have polluted, and continue to pollute, the air to the extent that residents have drilling toxins in their blood.

Now take a deep breath and watch as we all bleed together, because these big boys don’t play fair.

It would be nice if the story could end here, but it continues. The pipelines running to wells by the Argyle Intermediate School are reportedly 24-inch pipelines. If you think these compressors are big, imagine how big the ones blowing toxic compounds into the air all day long, beside our children, will be.

I think Williams plans on buying out everyone in Argyle and Bartonville because this kind of thing cannot, should not and will not stand. They have to know that.

Seeing it in person brought everyone standing around to their knees – it was jaw-dropping watching this go in.

This is a nightmare. Where can I get a list of toxins I need to have my blood checked for, and where can I do it?

I know a couple of doctors who can do some very specialized testing. You know how to contact me.

This is outrageous.

They had some kind of problem this morning because it made such a big boom, I thought a plane crashed. My dog barked and barked and barked at the crane.

When the dog ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.

Not good. Not good at all. This is crazy. I can’t believe that they don’t have a better place for these that won’t be near homes and families.
I am sure they are natural gas fired so the methane coming out of them will be off the chart!

Susan, can you come to the Flower Mound Town Council meeting on Monday to talk about what Williams is doing in Argyle? Someone from Spilliams is allegedly planning to be there to make excuses for their recent spills and other problems in the area. They should have to account for this monstrosity as well, and it would be best to hear it from someone who lives nearby.
