#1 I’m excited for this season? I no longer have to sort through Feldman’s 67 RIEFNS clutter to read NBA posts.

I enjoyed this series. It highlighted a lot of things that get forgotten in the mid-season when 80% of the talk is on the same few big name teams/players. Id way rather hear a story about Enes Kanter’s development than another “Kobe responds to tweet” story, but I guess that’s what the sports world wants.

Shouldn’t it be “excited for this season”

  5. myhawks1976 - Oct 28, 2014 at 10:43 PM

Feldman… I blast you. Frequestly. The concept here was NOT a bad idea. If you noticed the low click rate and the lack of comments, and would like some honest feedback, then here it is:

    1. “RIEFNS” Too long. doesn’t sound out to anything. Hard to attach to.
    2. Almost nobody who reads these blogs gives a damn what you are excited about. That’s not a knock or a put down. It’s the reality. 67 reasons to be excited for next season, would go over much better.
    3. This is a now society. Even the old “mini series” that used to dominate tv are going by the wayside. We want everything and we want it now. A top 10 list still plays. Maybe even a Top 30. 1 for each team.
    4. Consistent delivery. Nobody that I know that reads PBT consistently, is on 24/7. We pop in here or there, and will scroll back a little ways to find something new, but I know I probably miss 1/2 the content that goes up. If those were on a release schedule: 10am / 2pm/ 6pm…. you got a much better chance that people catch on and make it a point to check back.

Just some honest takes for ya.

The series was fine. But if I never see the phrase “67RIEFNS” again I wont complain….

  7. deadeyedesign23 - Oct 29, 2014 at 8:03 AM

Well I didn’t think you’d make it but 19 RIEFNS in the last 24 hours and you did.

43 of the above were done just a week ago!
