Proposition Number 1
"SHALL the City Council of the City of Weatherford, Texas be authorized to issue general obligation bonds of the City in the principal amount of $16,521,000 for permanent public improvements and public purposes, to wit: designing, constructing and improving Downtown streets, and various intersection improvements within the City, including sidewalks, railroad crossings, signalization, street lighting, public streetscaping, landscaping, curb and gutter replacements and the acquisition of lands and rights-of-way therefor; such bonds to mature serially or otherwise over a period not to exceed FORTY (40) years from their date, to be issued and sold in one or more series at any price or prices and bear interest any rate or rates (fixed, floating, variable or otherwise) as shall be determined within the discretion of the City Council at the time of issuance or sale of the bonds; and whether ad valorem taxes shall be levied upon al taxable property in the City sufficient to pay the annual interest and provide a sinking fund to pay the bonds at maturity?

“¿SE DEBERÁ autorizar al Consejo Municipal de la Ciudad de Weatherford, Texas, para emitir bonos de obligación general de la Ciudad, por la cantidad de capital de $16,521,000, para mejoras públicas permanentes y para propósitos públicos, a saber: para diseñar, construir y mejorar las calles del centro de la ciudad, y mejoras de intersección varios en la ciudad, incluidos las aceras, los pasos a niveles, las señalizaciones, el alumbrado público, el paisaje urbano público, los jardines, el reemplazo de bordillos de la acera y cunetas y la adquisición de terrenos y los derechos de paso para estos; dichos bonos a madurar en serie o de otra manera durante un período que no exceda los CUARENTA (40) años a partir de sus fechas, a ser emitidos y vendidos en una serie o más, a cierto precio o precios y para generar intereses a cierta tasa o tasas (fijas, flotantes, variables u otras) según lo determine a su discreción el Consejo Municipal al momento de la emisión o de la venta de los bonos; y si se deberán aplicar impuestos ad valorem sobre toda la propiedad gravable de la Ciudad, suficiente para pagar el interés anual y proporcionar un fondo de amortización para pagar los bonos conforme venzan?”
