Just when you thought it was all over, there’s a new twist…
The three reports I’ve seen all differ slightly. It seems a reporter objected to being barred from a court proceeding. His objection was noted in the record. Later one of the papers sued. Now a couple of papers, scientists, physicians and environmental groups have joined in the lawsuit because they think information sealed in the duck tape could help us all learn more about health impacts from fracking.

Sealed fracking settlement case coming back to Washington County Court

The newspapers were joined in the case earlier this year by a group of doctors, scientists, researchers and advocates seeking information that could shed light on the health impacts of gas development, including the process known as hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, noted a nonprofit environmental law firm, Earthjustice of Washington, D.C.

What was done to the Hallowichs was criminal.
It sounds like the duct tape is going to hit the fan.
The newspaper will get its day in court. They will lose. Those cases that get sealed stay sealed.
Newspapers never like it when deals get made behind closed doors. I hope that they prevail. I cannot imagine that they will prevail. Duct tape works good.
Only a Congressional investigation will remove the Duck tape. Congress has special Duck tape removal authority. We need to demand that they use this authority.
….but I thought that WAS a congressman all taped up in your photograph. Sorry; My bad. I just assumed he was in campaign mode there.
The individual in the photo is not bloated so I don’t think it is a politician.
