The best moment of last night's debate in New York’s 11th Congressional District between indicted tough Michael Grimm and his don't-screw-this-up Democratic challenger Domenic Recchia came in the lightning round, when NY1's Errol Louis basically asked the candidates to name a book, any book. In a rare flash of bipartisan harmony, both men agreed that reading is hard.

"It's been a while — haven't had time to read," said Grimm, who is best known for threatening to throw a NY1 reporter off a balcony and other showings of manliness. "Um, I think it was a Tom Clancy book but I don't remember the name."

"Earl," Recchia said, dodging the question and meaning Errol, "We're on the campaign trail, talkin' to the people."

The debate was a tie, if we're going by who had the best Staten Island accent.
