Texas Jail Project works to improve the conditions for approximately 67,000 people—mothers, fathers, brothers, sons, sisters, and daughters—who are incarcerated in Texas county jails.The group focuses on the underserved populations of mentally ill people, pregnant women, veterans, and those held for long periods pretrial.
