Cowboys RB Randle During Booking: “If I Give You $100, Can You Give Me A Massage?”

FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was quite vocal as police booked him into the Frisco City Jail after his arrest for stealing cologne and underwear more than two weeks ago. He cracked jokes and didn’t seem to take officers seriously.
“If I give you $100, can you give me a massage?” Randle asks an officer.
Behind-the-scenes video shows Randle, dressed in a white sleeveless shirt, talking to his agent on the phone.
“I got jammed up. I need a… I need an attorney to get me a writ bond so I can make it to practice tomorrow,” Randle says.
Clearly worried about making it to the team’s practice the next day, Randle expresses concern about whether his arrest for shoplifting from the Dillard’s department store at the Stonebriar Centre Mall will get out to the public.
“Hey, is this going to be on the news, you think?” he asks.

VIDEO: CLIP 1 – Randle complains about arrest, calls it a dumb mistake, asks to see his mugshot and how it looks, worries about getting cut and talks about Josh Brent.

VIDEO: CLIP 4 – Randle continues to joke about personal cell phone, while officers ask him questions to continue booking. Randle says he didn’t want to go back to cashier to pay for merchandise.
VIDEO: CLIP 5 – Randle says the arrest may be a good thing, jokes about taking medical marijuana, calls his agent to ask for a writ bond so he can make it to practice the next day.
VIDEO: CLIP 6 – Randle asks agent if arrest will make news, officer goes over Randle’s possessions including more than $300 cash and credit cards, Randle says he probably will stay in jail for the night.
VIDEO: CLIP 7 – Randle compares his arrest to Ray Rice domestic abuse, talks about Dez Bryant’s domestic violence case with his mother.
At one point in the video, Randle gets in trouble for trying to use his personal phone without permission. He is heard saying, “Hey, bro, leave the door unlocked, I’m going to hit you right back.”
Later, as Randle takes his mugshot, he wants to know how the photo turns out.

“How come y’all don’t have the height and weight on there like you normally do?” asks Randle.
Randle also discusses how one teammate suffered consequences for more serious crimes.
“Josh Brent, he’s still up in the locker room,” Randle said. “He was driving drunk. That’s stupid.”
Randle was fined one week’s pay by the NFL after he was charged with a Class B misdemeanor.
