Five Don't-Miss Fashion Events in Houston in November

The weather is cooling down just in time for fashion season in Houston to heat up! Clear your calendars (and your credit card balance) because in addition to this onslaught of fashion--Christmas is coming. You know it, I know it, and the retailers in the Galleria know it. (Seriously, the decorations are going up already).

The first stop on our November fashion tour requires fast action--you only have until Sunday, November 2, to pick up (and use!) your Houston Holiday Shopping Card. Purchase the card for $75 and start shopping: you enjoy 20 percent off of purchases at hundreds of area stores, and a donation will be made to the American Cancer Society for each purchase. Kissue Trunk Show at Kendra Scott at CityCentre on Saturday, November 1

The fashionable ladies of Kissue--sisters Kaygen and Kailey--are having a trunk show, and you really should attend. Head to the Kendra Scott boutique at CityCentre on Saturday, November 1, between noon and 8 p.m. to see the sisters' latest selection of fashions paired with Scott's incredible feminine-yet-edgy "Winter Starstruck" collection--a perfect fit with the Kissue aesthetic.

Camille Styles Book Signing with Houston Tidbits at Kuhl-Lindscomb on Saturday, November 1

Austin-based lifestyle blogger Camille Styles is coming to Houston to sign copies of her new book, Camille Styles Entertaining. Hosted by the lovely folks at Houston Tidbits, Styles will sign at Kuhl-Linscomb between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 1--so you can definitely make it to the Kissue trunk show, too.

Faberge at HMNS, Through 2015

Sometimes fashion moves much too fast, so it's great when it sits conveniently still for you, allowing you to ogle it for hours on end. If you need time to really absorb your fashion, we must recommend the latest Fabergé exhibit at HMNS. Over 150 new pieces have been added, and you will see everything from fabulous jewelry to opulent, everyday items--jewel-encrusted, of course. The exhibit is on display now through 2015, and is free to HMNS members.
