There is something so fundamentally wrong with this. Our Texas Republican politicians can orchestrate a take down of a President Obama appointee working to protect us from danger…but let’s see if any of these same Republican politicians speak up about Judge Trey Loftin’s clear violation of ethics. Any bets?
I have had much experience with crooked judges in several counties in Tx. This is no surprise ref. Loftin. They have much power and ability to use that “high bench position” to do political acts of their choosing! There needs to be a 50% budget cut for all court/cop systems in Tx. as a starter. After 6 months, then they get another 50% budget cut. After 2-4 cycles, they might get their minds right!!!
We’ve got a great big problem on our hands in Tx.
You need to file a complaint with the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. This is a clear violation of 3 B.10 of their ethics! Record all documentation on this too!
Based on this information about courts, I believe that the courts are being used by the Gas Mafia because it’s a pretty cheap way to go. Just have some lawyers draw up papers and the court takes over from there and all that effort is then paid for by us the taxpayers on several fronts. Since the Gas mafia has chosen to use this approach of doing damages to ordinary citizens and to shut them up, the actions of these courts should be documented and brought to the fore front and become an important part of the fracking effort now underway.
They also use the Railroad Commission of Texas to do their legal work for the taking of our property via the Statewide Rule 37 Spacing Exception (one example, only). We are paying our taxes to fund a Texas agency that “takes” mineral property even when we choose not to lease. Yes, it sounds unbelievable. That’s because it is. But it’s absolutely true.
To clarify…the Railroad Commission provides the mechanism for Oil and Gas Operators to “take” our property. They are the facilitators for this property theft by the operators.

Oh yes, how right you are. The RRC is a taxpayer funded lapdog in every respect. In addition, they are a VERY DANGEROUS org. regarding the ordinary citizens of Tx. They will urge you to do illegal activities so that the operator can then file criminal charges on you.
Do not ever file a complaint to the RRC. They make absolutely no effort in keep complaints identity confidential. And as you say, they will collude with the operator against an ordinary citizen.

Maybe you have an example to share. We haven’t experienced that. We have filed a Complaint and were told to file a lawsuit in District Court…it has to do with questionable leasing practices. The Railroad Commission doesn’t deal with that…even though they give permits to the operators based on evidence of leased property.
“I don’t think a judge should ever comment about a case pending in his court,” Craig Towson, Loftin’s opponent in the Republican primary on May 29, said in an interview. “One could feel slighted if you have a judge commenting on the case.”
Wow. This would get a Judge tossed off of a case in many other states.
To say nothing of making it sound like he’s already made up his mind about this case.

Yes Andy, above. Our democracy in action which is run by and manipulated by corporate interests around every curve in the road. The system is designed to extract money from the peasants, take it onto high and redistribute it to the persons of means & control. When challenged by one of the peasants, the legal system will get that person’s “mind right” so that he/she comes into compliance, usually causing that person to go financially broke, gets put into jail.

I want folks on all sides of this issue to take a good hard look at potential problems presented by widespread emissions of the highly toxic sulfur compounds CS2, COS, and H2S.
I wish very much to engage in meaningful public debate over precisely this issue. Perhaps you’re familiar with some of my work?
In any case, my point about democracy is this: Sharon needs our help right now. Democracy needs your help right now. It seems to be getting kicked around a little down there.
As a process, democracy works better when you lend your name to it. Please don’t be shy with yours.
Besides, how else will we know to stand in your defense when they come to take you down?
