Mexican seafood favorite El Bucanero has opened a second location, at 13802 Embassy Row, near Bitters Avenue and US 281.

It's another location to enjoy the camarones aguachile and other amazing seafood dishes from the interior of Mexico, especially the coastal state of Sinaloa.

It's the latest expansion for the restaurant, which began as a truck and opened as a small spot on South W.W. White, before moving to its current location at 16505 Blanco Road. Despite the large location, diners routinely waited up to an hour or longer for a table .

The menu is largely the same, but includes a few different cooked items. Visit the website for the original location at www.elbucanerosa.com to see its full menu.

The Taste team will visit soon and report back what we find in an upcoming Just a Taste feature.

Read a review from a previous visit to the Blanco location on www.mysa.com/food. The restaurant won 2014 Critics' Choice for Best Seafood.
