I’ve been served!

by TXsharon on February 28, 2012

in Intimidation, PSYOPS, Range Resources, subpoena

Dear Readers,

Range Resources, the big, BIG bullies, just served me with a subpoena in the Lipsky case.

The bullies want all the lint from my pockets and they want a big old pie in the sky. The lint in my pockets belongs to me and has nothing to do with them. And the pie is in the sky so Range Resources is SOL.

The silliest thing is their request for all the stuff about them that’s on my blog. Most of the Free World has access to that. Everything I know, Dear Readers, you know. Here’s how Range Resources can find everything about them: Look in the right hand column for CATEGORIES. Click on the down arrow and select “Range Resources.” That will produce everything that I have ever posted about Range Resources.

If I was large corporation with a 10 billion market cap and an image problem, the first thing I would do is serve one woman blogger. Maybe next they can club some baby seals.

A single mother one woman blogger.

Geez, lost money for 2 years and 5% margins in 2011. It appears they aren’t good at PR, drilling wells, or making money. Look out, I might get sued for spewing facts.

or, they know you’re beyond their “redemptive services” and are hoping the rest of us will be cowed. Wish they’d understand we’re fighting for our lives and aren’t going anywhere…even if we had some place else. If they’d just get that, they’d fold their tents and go, go, go, go away.

If they would just take my advice from the PR Conference:

Drill Better.
Suck Less.

That would be a huge improvement.

Range wants to make sure they get their money’s worth out of the judges in Texas.
Can’t wait to see Range served a subpoena from the Federal Government for obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and solicitation of a state court judge. Only if they are guilty of course.

Range Resources must really have something to hide if they are afraid of bloggers. Afraid of what information might see the light of day. Afraid of what might be said or revealed so they try to intimidate Sharon.
To the assclowns @ RR, good luck with that..

I can only imagine the frustration Range is feeling these days. It’s one bad move after another. If Matt Mouthpiece isn’t shooting himself in the foot, he’s shooting his employers in the foot. Feet? As many screw ups as this Good Neighbor has had, it’s hard to think of when their insanity started…screwing over Ron Gulla, Steph Hallowich and her family, then lying about it and getting caught, a failed and painful PR tactic with their psyop program, calling people who dare to fight back ‘insurgents’, then lying about that. For a successful multi-billion dollar company to continually make these rookie mistakes, you’d think they were taking their advice from the three stooges at Energy in Depth.

Surely you are not surprised! That’s how they all work. People that tell the truth about what is going on get a big ole heavy handed lawyer as their personal watchdog, in hopes that you will shut up. These are called SLAPP suits. Here’s hoping you can turn the tables and file a countersuit for them harassing you.

They aren’t suing me. They seem to think I have information that I do not have.

Time to take a page out of the Bill Gates book, and get amnesia. He sure forgot a lot on things on Capitol Hill in the one Hearing. ;)

Amen to that one, Ghostblogger.

I think it’d be hard for them to deny your friends and associates access, too. We should all show up en mass. Make sure subpoena is valid, first. AMHIK.

I feel like I live in a third world country…afraid to breathe the polluted air, stuck living near devalued property, not able to find proof of unfracked produce and beef, & freedom of speech comes with paid attorney vultures just circling around….never have I ever wished more to live in another country. There are other countries that will be fossil fuel free soon. Once they are….we can rubb that in our 1%’ers faces while we take our cancer treatments.

noethforkflyer May 16, 2012 at 3:48 pm

Fossil fuel free? Lets see. Somillia comes to mind. How about Zimbabwe? Most advanced country in Africa in 1970, now an almost totally fossils free bottom of the heap 3rd world country, with a mortality rate that must be seen to be believed. Let me know, maybe we can help wiith the steerage fees.

@ Sue. Love it! lol. This is intimidation in the worst way. And publicly at that. The industry is usually very secretive when they are doing it. I guess all that exposure to chemicals have warped their thought process.
Thanks Sharon for standing up to the big gas mafia.

Don’t expect any help from the Tx court system–it’s crooked and bought off by Big Gas mafia.

Reply

Tim Ruggiero February 29, 2012 at 9:17 pm

Actually, I would fully expect the court system to help-you don’t have to be an attorney to know that one cannot use the court system in an effort to extract information from someone who has nothing to do with a baseless lawsuit. Given that Sharon’s ‘secret vault’ of information RR is looking for is posted right here, then this is just an obvious attempt to intimidate Sharon into stop telling the truth. I know, it’s PSYOP! That’s it! Matt Pitzarella’s attempt to use the Vulcan Mind Bend isn’t working, so he went with the next best thing-send in the attack dogs.

Range is ‘winning friends and influencing people’ in Pennsylvania too. Most of their influence is in the state capitol lining politicians pockets with money. Most of their friends are… uh, maybe subcontractors who haven’t been paid yet? Known for their slow-pay. And what about all the ‘Lessors’ in Pa. who had to sue them because they were getting bilked for gas processing, transportation and storage, amounting to nearly 50% of their royalty checks! Who knew? There isn’t enough space to write about all their spills, blunders and excuses. Did you know one of their latest spills was caused by a *rabid skunk* chewing into a wastewater pipe? Shazam!

Reply

TXsharon March 1, 2012 at 7:15 am

I would love to read about the skunk if you have a link.

Reply

Marcellus Shale March 1, 2012 at 8:17 am

That’s the first time the ‘rabid skunk’ story has been told on the internet. Range’s other excuses around spills have been “vandals” and a “defective coupling” so next it will probably be ‘rabid Pennsylvania gray squirrels’ causing their Mayhem. Ha!

Will there be a deposition?

When and where is your cameo appearance in court?

I have to give a deposition but I don’t think they allow spectators. If they do, you are welcome to watch the circus. I will post the transcript of the deposition for your enjoyment.

The water wells around the Lipsky’s (and theirs) went bad when the Range gas well went through the Strawn formation and mobilized methane into the groundwater. So any one of those residential water systems could have accumulated methane to hazardous levels. This is not in dispute. It happens all the time. And it should be outted. It’s a growing problem that defies technical solutions. Good on you Sharon.

Chip, that article of your’s is excellent — wish I didn’t believe it and could blow it all off but I’ve intuitively known it was true from the first few articles I read that began to reveal the true nature and scope of this unconventional drilling — then your input and then Marc Durand’s, too, just confirmed it.
Sharon, don’t forget to ck out Marc Durand’s facebook page showing his scientific explanation of why it will happen even without rusty pipes.

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Range_Resources

Maybe we need someone to add Texas Sharon’s serving to this piece. Sourcewatch made me aware of things RR has done that I had not heard of. So, more stuff to send around by email!

Maybe RR will also serve Sourcewatch?

when you write about Range Resources use RRC because that is their stock market abbreviation.

Will do! Maybe there’s a conspiracy at other fracking outfits in this case, and RRC needs to serve everyone who works at every other fracking company. Or, blogs about RRC competitors. Or. works at Dow Jones or any other financial analyst place.

You should know that Calvin T. has encouraged all of us to write to David Poole and ask why Sharon is being deposed. It seems like a good idea; and I assume that Sharon would’ve told him if his initiative were unwelcome.

So, how about it? Have you written to Mr. Poole?

My understanding of PA law, though I’m no attorney, is that a subpoena is not enforceable except in criminal cases. I wanted to subpoena a doctor to testify in a civil case, and my attorney said it would not be enforceable in civil court.

Don’t know if you want to follow up with a Texas attorney, but if you do, just make sure you CYA.

I’m thinking that Jeanne M may be right unless you are a party to the suit and you aren’t. Like I said get some advice, don’t just go and offer yourself up. They are just intimidators.
Sharon, I saw that commercial you’re talking about and emailed Calvin about it to see if it was true. I haven’t heard back from him. So you know it isn’t true? I probably either saw it on channel 11 or 27. If I see it again, I’ll call the station and try to get a time for when it might air again. elaine
