Vimeo On Demand
Starting now, browse thousands of Vimeo On Demand trailers from the unrelenting comfort of your couch. When you find a title that grabs your interest, add it to your Watch Later queue and purchase it when you’re ready. Any titles you’ve purchased will appear in Watch Later and under My Videos.

Content filter
Vimeo on Apple TV now has R-E-S-P-E-C-T for your content filter preferences when you’re logged in. If you’re logged out, we’ll show you only stuff that is safe for all audiences.

Easier browsing
Hit the “more” button on a video to see other videos from that creator, along with related Albums, Channels, and Groups.

Hidden features
Enjoy continuous playback anywhere — simply press the play button on your remote while any video thumbnail is selected. Also: Quickly like or add a video to your Watch Later queue by holding down the center (select) button on your remote. Super stealth.

Unfortunately the new update logged me out of the app and now even if I change password on the web numerous times when I try to login in the Apple TV app it will give me login error, invalid username or password every single time.

Ok I've found a bug in the new Vimeo Apple TV app regarding login, I was going crazy changing account and passwords but it will tell me every time that the login was incorrect but to my surprise I've pressed menu button two times and went back to main Vimeo home page and I was logged in, it looks like the logged in successfully message is not coming up and instead you get an error message but you are still logged in.

I like the design, but REALLY miss it telling me what user uploaded what video on my Feed. I follow a lot of different groups and always relied on this to browse. Now I have to click on each video and look at the Description to see who uploaded it. This may sound like a petty thing, but like I said, it was huge for me and I really notice it being gone. Does this make sense?

I have pages of likes that I have accumulated over the years, but I notice on the Apple TV that only the last four videos that I have liked are shown.
Will this be corrected in the future so that I have access to all that I have liked?

You can view all your Likes now! In the My Likes section, scroll all the way to the right and select 'View All'

Purchases and rentals have to be made on-site first, sorry! Your VOD purchases/rentals will then appear under My Videos on Apple TV.

Unfortunately, this version does not work for me:
stops at "Connecting to vimeo" in the main windows.
Search works - but if you select one result you get the message "can connect to vimeo - no connection"
restart of ATV2 by powercycle was unsuccessful
any tip / hint?

Doesn't work on my aTv3! Load bar does not disappear, after playing a video the whole system freezes!

I have the same problem, thus update is terrible for me. The video constantly freezes and using the transport controls locks up the app for about a minute or so. Also, the Apple TV spontaneously reboots now when using the app. I've followed the suggestions here, logged out and back in, restarted, etc, but nothing helps.

Nice Update! But I still miss the option to display captions/subtitles! This is so necessary. A lot of my films have optional subtitles that can be displayed on browser, but not on AppleTV.

They are coming soon hopefully. We are working on some issues with our CDN that are preventing us from getting captions and subtitles on the Apple TV.

May I ask, are customers of VOD always going to have to have an account in order to buy or rent our projects? Since they pay via paypal and credit card and I've been noticing the feedback heavily leans towards people missing quite a bit of sales because people get to the part where they have to sign up with Vimeo and then just stop at that point.

Is this something that will change in time or no? I'm asking because that's the difference between me renewing plus right now or just upgrading to pro. Thanks!
