Challenge family members to racing along the twists and turns of the track of Mountasia Family Fun Center. Even younger enthusiasts may join in the race in two-seater go carts. To race, drivers must be at least 56 inches tall and passengers must be between 36 and 56 inches tall. This outdoor track is subject the weather, so check in before driving out to be sure racing is available prior to your visit.

In the same location for more than 30 years, Rockwood Gokart Track has been a staple in the go karting community. This track offers an exciting ride and an inexpensive day out for families in North Texas. Two-seat go karts are available for younger children to race with the rest of the family as well. In an effort to keep all drivers and passengers safe, all vehicles are equipped with safety belts and bumpers just in case.

The Shenaniganz Speedway is an indoor electric arena that puts a touch of adventure on any dinner out. Drivers may race alone or team up with a co-pilot. All drivers must be at least 50 inches tall and all passengers must be at least 36 inches tall. A valid drivers’ license is required for all drivers with a passenger. Take the whole family for laser tag, mini golf, a night at the arcade, bowling, a romp in the jump zone or a bout with the climbing wall. Parents will appreciate Shenaniganz for its snacks, adult drinks and delicious desserts as well.

For those families wishing to take their racing to the next level, the North Texas Karters is a member-run club open to family memberships. Racers will enjoy a nine-turn, half-mile race across an asphalt track. Racers may be as young as 5 years old to ride along on this exhilarating experience. If you aren’t racing for the day, watch from the Spectator Grand Stands that overlook the entire track.
