Hydraulic fracturing fluid spill into stream in Colorado

in hydraulic fracturing

Thousands of gallons of frack fluid spilled when a truck turned over. VIDEO  The spill went into a nearby stream.

I think, typically, the frack fluid is mixed onsite. My guess is the truck was carrying produced water which can contain flowback.

This situation can really lead to serious problems. Water contamination can affect people, the environment and the wildlife existing in the area. Definitely, this is a matter that deserves to be given the right amount of attention.
