Holiday Closures - 2014

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, Flower Mound Town offices, the Flower Mound Municipal Court, the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, and the Shirley Voirin Social Senior Center will close. Police, Fire, and Emergency Services will remain in operation during all holidays. The Town of Flower Mound will recognize and close during the following holidays in 2014:

New Year's Day	January 1
Martin Luther King Day (No Delay in Trash/Recycling/Bulk Collection)	January 20
Good Friday (No Delay In Trash/Recycling/Bulk Collection)	April 18
Memorial Day	May 26
Independence Day	July 4
Labor Day	September 1
Thanksgiving (Trash/Recycling/Bulk will be collected on Nov 28)	November 27 and 28
Christmas (Trash/Recycling/Bulk will be collected on December 24th)	December 24 and 25

Waste Management Trash, Recycling & Bulk Collection Services

If a holiday recognized by the Town of Flower Mound occurs during the work week, trash, recycling, and bulk collection schedules will be suspended on the actual holiday, and will resume the day after until all collections are completed on Saturday.  Trash, recycle, and bulk collection will occur on Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.  For more information regarding holiday closures and trash services, please call 972.539.SERV (7378).

Federal Holidays

The Town does not close or cease operations for every federal holiday. All Town offices will remain open and trash collection services will remain on schedule during the following federal holidays:

Flower Mound Public Library

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, the Flower Mound Library will either close or remain in operation during alternate hours. The Library will recognize and close during the following holidays in 2014:

Community Activity Center

If a holiday or an associated closure day occurs during the work week, the Flower Mound Community Activity Center will either close or remain in operation during alternate hours. The Community Activity Center will adhere to the schedule below during the following holidays in 2014:
