Petroleum and natural gas systems are worse than refineries as Green House Gas emitters and second only to power plants.

Where is this data coming from? With no credible source, this could be completely made up for all we know.

The EPA released new GHG reporting data yesterday.

I was wondering what the power plant part of the pie chart is composed of—such as coal, natural gas, nuclear, etc, etc.?

I’m assuming it’s all types of power plants but as you can see if you poke around on the EPA site, it’s not easy to find the information you need.

Yeah, the EPA is noted for doing studies–hiring some college prof. (using our tax money) to do a study, which concludes that more research is needed!!!! Then we (as you say) can’t make much sense out of the EPA posted data.
