The Flower Mound Public Library offers a unique way to honor or memorialize a special person through the "Honor with Books" donation. To initiate a donation, please complete the "Honor with Books" form and return the form with your check made payable to the "Flower Mound Public Library". The donation amount must be $25.00 per item requested. To specify the purchase of a particular title(s), call the library for a current list of needed materials.  For adult materials, call 972-874-6152 and for children's materials, call 972-874-6153. A bookplate will be placed in the item(s) with the name of the person to be honored or memorialized. A letter of acknowledgment will be sent to the individual or to the family.

Major gifts, such as land, buildings, art objects, or other significant monetary, historical, or literary value, must be accepted by the Town Council upon the recommendation of the Parks, Arts, and Library Services (PALS) Board.

Monetary donations will be directed to the library donation account or to the Friends of the Flower Mound Public Library, according to the wishes of the donor. The money will be used to enhance the library services. A donor's specific request for use of the monetary donation will be honored if practically possible but not guaranteed.
