According to a report from the St. Louis Business Journal, Deon Anderson, 48, was accused of giving out non-public information about other competitor's bids in exchange for cash to three different subcontractors.

He also structured certain currency transactions to try and hide the bribes.

According to a press release from the FBI, Anderson pled guilty in June to three felony counts of mail fraud, one felony count of wire fraud and one felony count of currency structuring.

Co-defendant William P. Boozer, of the subcontractor Globe Dynamics International Inc. in Santa Ana, Calif., was sentenced to 18 months in prison and a $10,000 fine.
