Parks and Trails
The Parks and Recreation Division maintains more than 945 acres of parkland. This includes approximately 43 miles of 8' multi-purpose trails that link together parks, neighborhoods, schools, and businesses and 2 miles of equestrian trails. There are 9 miles of equestrian trails and 14 miles of unpaved hike and bike trails for public use within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park property along the northern shores of Grapevine Lake.

Many of our neighborhood parks offer a variety of playgrounds, covered picnic shelters, cooking grills, park benches, and basketball play pads. Residents also enjoy numerous youth and adult baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields, and public tennis courts.

Twin Coves Park - Boat Ramp Closure
Due to low lake water levels the boat ramp will not be operational until the lake rises several more feet. The newly renovated boat ramp project included a new boat ramp, courtesy dock, sidewalks, landscaping, and concrete parking. The Town will be extending the boat ramp by an additional 25 feet so that it can be used during drought conditions. More information on this project will be communicated as it becomes available.
