2012
Chisholm was defeated by incumbent Justice Nathan Hecht in the November 6, 2012 general election after receiving 1.3% of the vote. Other candidates included Michele Petty and Mark Ash.[4]

Education
Chisholm received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University in 1984, his master's degree in history from the University of Texas in 1988, and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999.[5][6]

Chisholm maintains his own law practice, Jim Chisholm, Attorney at Law, in Houston, Texas.[7]
