The Eagle Ford Shale remains a hot commodity is Texas as advancements in drilling technologies have made it possible for more operators to unlock vast reservoirs of crude oil, natural gas and condensates thousands of feet under the Earth.

Last month, the University of Texas at San Antonio Institute for Economic Development issued a report showing that the shale generated $87 billion in total economic output for the state and supported nearly 155,000 jobs. And those figures are only expected to grow even higher over the next 10 years.
