New retirement home planned for west San Antonio

Meridian Senior Living, one of the largest assisted living providers in the country, will perform the daily operations of The Heritage.

Dallas health-services developer and owner McFarlin Group is nearing commencement on The Heritage of Westover Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care located in west San Antonio.

The new facility will serve approximately 120 residents in assisted living and memory care (certified Alzheimer's) apartments. The community will be situated on a five-acre site on Highway 151 near Sea World and The Hyatt Hill Country Resort. Meridian Senior Living, one of the largest assisted living providers in the country, will perform the daily operations of The Heritage.

McFarlin Group recently broke ground on its eighth senior living community in Allen, Texas and is also planning several similar new developments in Arizona.

The McFarlin Group has senior living experience that includes the planning, financing and development of more than $1.7 billion in total project costs over the last 10 years and the development of 4,900 senor living units.
