The sixth annual Sacramento region study mission, facilitated by the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, was held Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 throughout the Sacramento area.
A record number of participants, 86, met with business and community leaders to learn strategies and obstacles to overcome. Each site on the internal study mission focused on an industry insight. Topics included in the focus included downtown development, regional branding, Sacramento "med zone," the emergence of the "farm-to-fork" movement, improving education in region and methodology for successful startups in Sacramento.
