Shop Small SaturdayDo you own a small business in Flower Mound? The Town would like help get the word out about your business through our Shop Small Saturday social media campaign!
 
On the last Saturday of the month, the Town will feature a small business in the community in a post on the Town's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/FlowerMound) and Twitter account (https://twitter.com/flower_mound). Please keep in mind, all posts are subject to comments and feedback on these sites according to the Town's social media terms of use and policy.

It's easy to participate! The Town will choose which business to feature on a first-come, first-serve basis based upon submissions. To submit your business for consideration in the Shop Small Saturday social media campaign, simply complete the

online form.

To focus on the small businesses in Flower Mound, the program includes the following guidelines:

  • Single-store businesses only, must own or lease commercial real estate in Flower Mound
  • Home-based businesses are not permitted, as they are not issued a Certificate of Occupancy by the Town
  • Businesses are only allowed to be featured in Shop Small Saturday once per calendar year
  • First come, first serve
  • Businesses may not request a certain month to be featured
  • Participating restaurants must have food inspection score of 80 or above in the Town's most recently posted Food Inspection Score report
  • Doctor’s offices and related medical facilities are not eligible at this time
  • The Town will have final approval on all submissions
