The Bartonville Town Council has scheduled a special meeting for tonight to consider approval of an ordinance amending the comprehensive zoning ordinance by changing the zoning designation of a 4.7-acre tract of land where the Bartonville water tower stands half-completed, according to the meeting’s agenda posted on the town’s website.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
The council approved the request for the zoning change at its meeting last week, but now it must consider and discuss the ordinance.
Council members will also consider an approval of an ordinance amending the town of Bartonville Code of Ordinances by granting a conditional-use permit to allow the water tower and related facilities on the same tract of land.
They also approved the request for a conditional-use permit at the meeting last week.
A public participation forum will take place at the beginning of the meeting, allowing residents who filled out a “Citizen Participation” form to address the council about an item appearing on the agenda.
