The People’s Climate March Lineup

Telling the Story of Today's Climate Movement

Today's climate movement is different from the one of decades past, and we want to make sure the People's Climate March tells the story of today's climate movement. To make that happen, we're trying something new and arranging the contingents of the march in a way that helps us thread our many messages together.

There are six themes, and you can see how they fit into the assembly area below - along with more specific meeting places for contingents complete with subway directions below that. If you're looking to march with a specific contingent, please show up early - and stay flexible, the march is going to be great wherever you are!

March Order diagram

You can view a map of just the march narrative here

Please note: Individual groups and organizations are not assigned a meet up location. Instead, they will find the contingent that their group falls under and gather in the contingent's assigned range of blocks (for instance, instead of listing specific universities, campus groups will gather under the “youth and students” contingent).

Additionally, some contingents are holding gatherings ahead of the march nearby - the interfaith and labor contingents in particular are holding gatherings ahead of the march in different locations that are not on Central Park West. Please look in the lineup details below for exact locations and times.

If you have other questions, please check out our march lineup FAQ here.
