Joe Zepecki, spokesman for the Burke campaign, criticized the fringe posts on Gary Ellerman's Facebook page, saying they undermine the credibility of what he has said about Burke.
A former Trek Bicycle executive alleging Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke was fired from the firm has a Facebook page filled with postings that refer to President Barack Obama in crude terms, call the first lady a man and liken Obama's "hope and change" campaign slogan to a Nazi swastika.

Ah, so much mudslinging, it would be nice if we could just focus on facts and issues at hand instead of all the finger pointing and negative campaigning.

Here's PolitiFact Wisconsin's earlier look into Mary Burke's record at Trek.
As she ramps up her campaign for governor, Democrat Mary Burke has spotlighted a particular statistic about her time at Trek Bicycle Corp., the Wisconsin-based manufacturer once affiliated with cycling legends Greg LeMond and Lance Armstrong. When asked on Wisconsin Public Television, for example, how she would help grow the state’s economy, Burke began her answer by saying:

Simply put, more Walker supporters say they will vote than Burke supporters say that, at this point, poll director Charles Franklin says.
Do you expect any changes before election day?
That represents a change from other surveys in recent weeks — including Marquette’s previous poll two weeks ago — showing the race essentially tied.

Dear Journal Sentinel, I enjoy reading your online edition. However, you turn yourself into People magazine when, at the bottom of the feed in the section entitled "You might like", you allow things like Rant to post photos of half naked women washing their car. Do you really want to associate yourself with titles like "20 Pictures of Leonardo DiCaprio's Ex-Girlfriends and Flings That Will Shock You?" We all know that sex sells, but a legitimate news corporation would never trade profits for standards. I don't plan on paying for your online edition or your print edition until you decide what you stand for. Sincerely, Anna Vos
