Emily Fowler Central Library set to reopen

Emily Fowler Central Library reopens at 9 a.m. Monday after being closed for two weeks for a renovation project.

Construction crews removed an old wheelchair lift and installed a new ramp that, once completed, will provide easier access to the library’s upper level.

The ramp is not yet finished, but staff will be available to assist customers who need help to access the upper level.

Library staff uncovered the shelves and re-shelved thousands of items Friday that were returned while the library was closed after two weeks for construction.

All services will be available when the library reopens, including computer and WiFi access; fax, copying and printing services; and access to the library’s collection and electronic catalog.
