Vote to improve city
It is with great fervor that I urge everyone who is eligible to vote to exercise your right in the upcoming Nov. 4 election. Early voting provides so many opportunities and gives such flexibility that we should all be able to get to the polls and make our voices heard.
I am always saddened by the low numbers of folks who actually do take advantage of this great privilege that we enjoy in our country.
I especially urge you to vote for all the propositions on the ballot to provide improvements to our city streets, facilities for our police and fire departments, drainage and flood control, and our parks.
The monies requested are really just a drop in the bucket for what our city needs, so please vote for these propositions before we get further behind with our infrastructure needs. The average cost to the homeowners in Denton will only be about $48 annually.
