Stop using scare tactics
I recently attended a debate regarding the proposed ban on fracking in the city of Denton. It was sad to see once again the use of emotions to try to win votes.
There are many ways for our residents to find the data for themselves if they really want to know and see how safe fracking is. I could state a lot of facts but I urge those who see this ban as a good thing to look for themselves.
But beware, Ecowatch and Earthworks claim one thing and the facts prove another in the Texas Railroad Commission’s Water Well Complaint Investigative Report.
Environmental groups see fracking as a “dangerous detour” to the path of 100 percent renewables. Natural gas is clean burning and a boon to our economy.
Have some integrity; stop using scare tactics.
